studio work begins
Today I finally began work in the studio on the commission. I've only applied one coat of gesso to the left canvas, and I still need to mark off the right canvas before I gesso it.

Do I understand correctly from the studio picture that your work will use the whole 10' high space, above the wood panelling? Or not?
Yes. The finished drawing will consist of two panels, each 9' x 13' high, to be installed above the wood paneling.
